About Me
I would like the students to know that I am extremely passionate about schooling and tutoring. I love to learn and be in a learning environment. Because of this, I have a passion for helping others obtain that knowledge.
Education
I attend Christopher Newport University, studying to obtain an English degree with two minors in Childhood Studies and Leadership Studies. My anticipated graduation is May 2021, where I will begin my Masters in the Art of Education, in hopes of becoming an English teacher.
Teaching Experience
I have both formal teaching and tutoring experience. I am currently in a class right now that is perfecting my skills as an English tutor. On top of this, I have student taught at both Hidenwood Elementary and Menchville High School in Newport News, VA. Additionally, I have been a substitute for Loudoun County in Northern Virginia.
Interests
I am usually studying for my classes, or planning events for my sorority. I currently hold a high position in my sorority, so I handle a lot of event planning and recruitment-based activities. Every day, I spend my afternoon free time in the library, usually trying to get ahead of my work.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
